I am a new member of this forum and hope that someone can help with a funky wiper problem that has just developed on my 95 E320 wagon.
The front wiper will periodically switch into intermittent wipe mode. This is sometimes, but not always, after using the turn signals. My guess was a faulty switch, but I hoped I could find a more qualified opinion. Thanks in advance for your help. This is a great forum! ![]()

Wiper issue resolved
Neil,
As I suspected, the problem was a short in the turn signal/wiper switch. The good news was that this was all it took. The bad news was the not-insignificant cost of the parts and labor (more than $200 total, as I recall). Hope this helps.

Thanks David.
You don't happen to have the part number on a receipt somewhere do you ? I also have a 1995 E320 wagon. :-) neil 1988 E36T AMG 1993 500E 1995 E320 wagon |

Let me see if I can put my hands on it. Since my indy mechanic does the work, I am not certain if he includes part numbers.
