Location of evap temp sensor for 1998 C230.

I was wondering if anybody might be able to tell me where the evap temp sensor is located in a 1998 C230. My father's A/C has been acting up (only when it is +30 degress celsuis and above) the compressor will kick out and as I have read on this forum before, the evap temp sensor are a likely culprit.

Any help would be appreciated,
Steve

Although the 202 car has the easiest location for the evap temp sensor above the drivers foot into the side of the case, the answer to whether it is the problem is the simplest task know to auto technicians. No tools, no tests, no disassembly; just push and hold the "rest" button till actual values are displayed, bang on all the buttons till the value changes to #5 and see what the temp is. In the morning when the car is all the same temp, all the actual values for temp sensors should be the same temp.

A good running system will get to around 5 deg C on evap temp. Most defective sensors read 150 plus (an imposibility).
