Can anyone please tell me if it is possible to switch the rear axle differential in my 1995 E320T to higher ratio unit? Does M.B. manufactures such a part, or any other good and reliable supplier you may recommend?
I remember my W123 1981 300TD had a higher ratio rear axle than the sedan, mainly to cover the higher weight and more drag that the station wagon had. My S124 E320T station comes equipped with the same axle ratio as the sedan, and I would like to gain a little more momentum on the startup. I don't mind loosing top speed. Any suggestions are appreciated! A. Rosich E320T 1995 24k miles S320 1998 5k miles |
