Does anyone know of a good shop in the Oklahoma City area to get my 81 300D worked on? I just need to get my valves adjusted but I'd like to find a reliable shop with knowledgable techs that can take care of whatever the car will need over time.

I just had a pre-purchase inspection done by Silver Star Imports in Edmond. They did a very thorough and very good job. When I went to pick up the car, I talked to the owner and several mechanics. They seem to know what they're doing.

Mercedes of Oklahoma City was great! They knew what they were doing(cuts down on labor time) and told us some things we could fix ourselves cheaper than what they could. Very good people there.

Recently had some minor maintenance done by Star Cars Unlimited at 239 W. Britton Road in OKC and couldn't be happier. It's owned and operated by brothers Terry and Gerry Underkoffler (Gerry was a tech for the OKC M-B dealership for many years). They've impressed me as a very thorough and reasonably priced shop and don't BS around.

Have also heard good reports about Allstar Motors on Broadway Court in Edmond.

I think you mean Edmond, Oklahoma, not Norman. The OKC Metro telephone directory only lists one Silver Star Imports and that's in Edmond. I don't have any direct experience with them, but I exchanged messages with irianjim, who is happy with their service.
