Ft. Worth Shop

Any good shops in Ft. Worth? Need to get the 79 240D looked at. Its a bit expensive to tow to my regular shop in Dallas!

Fort Worth repair shop

Try European Motor Cars on 2609 White Settlement Rd. They sell mercedes, and have a top notch mechanic (Henry) and will work on cars as well. West of downtown. http://europeanmotorcars-ltd.com/service.html

FW shop

The Hungarian guy on Carroll Street between White Settlement and 7th street should NOT be used unless you plan on leaving your car in there for a month or two. I dropped mine by to have the A/C worked on and took it back over three weeks later, with nothing done but a recharge which lasted about an hour. I even told him what needed to be done, another mechanic had pinpointed the problem but did not want to attempt the work. All I got was trash about how his new guys, looked like 18-year olds, had not shown up and left him hanging. I will never use him again.

Amen to that!

Yup, I wouldn't recommend that guy off Carroll St. either. There is a shop very near there though, I've heard is pretty good, although I've never used them. They are off Whitesettlement on Greenleaf. I believe the name of the place is Silver Star. They've been there many years and I have stopped in to talk to the man there in charge. Seemed easy to get along with knowlegdable and fair sounding. You might want to try them if you are in Fort Worth

EC's European Auto Repair

If you live on the SW side of Ft. Worth. I and numerous other MBCA members endorse E C's European Auto Repair. I have nothing bad to say about European Motors. The owner is a club member and they do wonderful work. I just wanted to get E C's name out there, too.
