I posted this as a good mechanic but he has parts as well. Over four acres worth of Mercedes. Full cars all models from the 50's through the late 90's. Its like going back in time ! If he doesn't have it he can tell you where to find it.

They had like 50 Mercedes cars last time I went. Only one I go to for used parts.

was just here today. they dont have half of what they show in their inventory. kind of disappointing.

Any LKQ salvage yards around Houston tend to have various assortments of Mercedes in there. They are pick your own part yards and are usually in pretty good shape. I have seen some clean Mercedes in these yards! South West off Hiram Clarke usually has the nicest stuff because its the newest yard. They have half price sales regularly! Hope this can help someone

For the Houston area, I've only been to the LKQ Northville Rd (near I-45 & the Beltway) and the Wallisville Rd. LKQ yard. Both have decent assortments of Benzes but on the whole the Northville Rd. yard is better.

Typically have a good assortment of 124s, 126s, often a couple of 123s, 202s and 210s. Less frequently you will see 140s, 201s, 107s, and very rarely you will see a 116. Even seen a 108 or two in there.

I'll have to check out the Hiram Clarke yard. It's the farthest away from me and I've never checked it out. The LKQ yards I've been to are both PYP and cost $2.00 entry fee.

The other good yard for Benzes that I've been to is Ryan's Auto Parts, in SW Houston. His stuff is usually a bit newer - 210s, 129s, and the like. The owner is a really nice guy and he has a soft spot for Benzes. I try to get down there 2-3x per year.

One just posted for Houston with some pics on craigslist ,123 ,126 ,124 and some 70s cars. If its the same guy I know he wants some pretty good cash for parts ,but theirs alot to see.

Lone Star Imports out on Liberty has always had what I need. They're not PYP, so they're more expensive, but their inventory is huge.

been to that one, even saw one of the old dinosaur direct injected gasoline powered ones,, was scratching my head trying to figure out what I was looking at~~ It had an injection pump on it.
more old benzes that I have seen anywhere, former forum guy YAK told me about them.

Sounds like I need to make a pilgrimage.

For anyone going to Belton, Texas.....

The yard is on the south side of the highway. And it is wayyyyyyyy off the highway down a long driveway.

It is there but it is easy to miss.
