In Austin: Phoenix Auto Works

Anybody have experience with this shop? Thinking about taking my wagon there later this week. Looking for a new shop a little closer to my house. I've been going to Austin ********, but that place is faaaaar away from south Austin.

What type of work do you need done? I've taken my car to them too, but I'm also in South Austin, and that drive up north Lamar is a killer.

I stopped going to them because there were some things they just couldn't fix and did not seem to have specific knowledge of the cars. Used to go to Ben's too, but way too pricey. Lately, I've been going to Tower Motors on Lamar (at 10th). David is a nice guy and is willing to take the time to discuss things. That said, he's not a mercedes only shop. But, overall, he's my current favorite of the group.
