Moved from Los Angeles to Austin, TX...W108/M130 Mechanic HELP!!!

Hello Fellow Benz lovers!

Can anyone suggest a good mechanic in Austin, TX area? I need some work on a 70 280sel with M130 engine. Referrals seem to always work best. I was spoiled in LA, so don't expect the same in Austin, but hopeful.

Thanks!

I've tried a couple around town. Currently I'm with Austin ********, and they're pretty good. Would love to hear of someone awesome, though.

I can't see why anyone move from beautiful L.A. unless of divorce, which was my case.
I miss radiator, shops, cvc joint rebuild places, even battery rebuilders.Oh well welcome to the south were parts, and fees are high.Don't stay long if your young, the lower wages will hurt your social security

There was a retired Mercedes Mechanic posting on Craigslist. I have not used him but talked to him on the phone a few times. He is very smart and very talkative. I don't have his number anymore because my phone died since and I lost his phone number. Keep a eye out for him he is pretty cool.
