Looking for tools not yet in the list

Does anyone near Norfolk VA have a timing chain crimping tool for a 240D to rent or sell?

chonahe@live.com

Hello
I need to rent a ball joint press for a 560 SEL or does anyone no a shop here on long island that would press them in for me

I saw that Billybob has a ball joint press for rent for a 560sel but I can not send him an email for some reason

Hi I need to change the front shocks on my 1989 300E (W124)? Can anybody rent me the coil spring compression tool - I live in DC Metgro area/MD.

Anyone have a w201/w124 ball joint press I can borrow or rent? I live in the Atlanta area! Thanks in Advance!

------------dirtyhands

Anyone have the valve spring compressor for the valve stem seals? Need it for a 420 (m116)...

I'm looking to replace all four rear subframe bushings on a '94 w124 (e420) in the near future and was wondering if anyone has the bushing R&R tools. The part numbers for these tools are

201 589 10 43 00
201 589 11 43 00

I'm not sure how necessary these are for the job, but I'd rather not spend a day sweating these guys in and and out (any experience would be appreciated!).

Thanks -- Greg

Valve Adjusment tools and/or compression test!

By any chance does any one have the tools needed for a valve adjustment and compression test? I mainly need the valve adjustment tools.

I have plenty of feed back on other sites and I only need them for one weekend. I will pay shipping both ways and maybe a small fee if needed

I am new to diesels and also a senior in high school and at the moment I cant afford a set for my self, or else I would and keep them for future use!

I am in Danville, California..

Thanks very much!

I'm interested in renting the following tools.....

I want to replace the injector nozzles in my 617 engine and remove the prechambers soz I can replace the seal. I've been getting some leaking in those areas and I feel it's time to see what she'll feel like with new injector nozzles.

Here are the tools I'd like to rent:

34) Prechamber ring wrench, pin type, 60X, 61X....Billybob............................$15

37) Prechamber removal tool, screw press, 61X.....Billybob............................$25.

20) Injector pop tester........................................Grezer...........................$20.

If these tools are still available let me know. I'd like to handle these transactions via money orders and mail.

I have a 1982 300sd with 350k on the clock. She runs well but always needs more attention than I'm able to give her. I've been happy to own her for the last three years.

Thanks
Allen

Special tools are not needed at all for the subframe mounts. The ones in front of the wheel can be pushed out with a deep well 27mm socket and a floor jack. The rear bushings can be removed with a piece of 3/8" all threaded rod, some nuts and washers.

I was successful using a "rental" from the local AutoZoo, so I no longer need this.
