WTR: Ball joint press for W124
 

Hello everyone!

I just purchased a 90 300e and am in need of doing some preventative maintenance. First thing is the ball joints and it looks like I'm going to be needing a press. If anyone has access to one and wouldn't mind renting it to me for a week please feel free to contact me.

Flowin313, Did you ever get a W124 Ball Joint Press?

I need to change mine out on my 1991 300TE. Tried to make the Parts Store Loaner press work using custom sized steel pipe adapters but no go.

I've got this kit that I used with the Harborfreight C-Clamp on a 560SL which has the same ball joints as the W124. Have not used to 10+ years, but as I remember it worked worked well.
