Shift Linkage Bushing Replacement tool for rent

This is The ************** version for these cars:


Fits W210, W202, W208, Late R129, Late W140 and 1998 to 2003 ML320.

I read enough bad things about doing this job that I decided to pull the trigger on these tools - it has the 'pliers' and the 'clip removal tool' included - and after doing it, I can't imagine how it would be done without these. I changed one in 20 minutes including putting the car on jacks.

They sell 2 versions - 1 for older cars and this one. Not sure what the difference is but I suspect it's the bushing, not the tool, that is different but I have no way of knowing if this will work on older cars.
