WTR: old-style four ear socket to remove transmission output yoke
On the output shaft of older ('70's era) transmission (apparently both manual and automatic) there is a round threaded fastener that has four slots spaced around the periphery. There exists, or some have made, a deep socket with corresponding tabs that fit into the openings and allow you to loosen or tighten the fastener. The fastener is around 21 or 22mm in diameter. I am looking for that tool!
You can see a picture of the fastener here: http://www.peachparts.com/shopforum/3767560-post21.html Please PM or reply to thread. Happy to provide a deposit and pay for shipping. Thanks, Kurt |
