The primer had dried for more than a day before I top coated so I don't think it is bleed-throug, also it looked perfect after the second coat and after I applied the third coat, so I assume it is just dew.

Yeah, they are my ugly winter wheels. I'm going to look at a set of 16" CLK wheels tomorrow...

I have the AMG 17" wheels from a CLK on the Dee8gonator. They look much better that the stock ones did. Now, I'm thinking some 18" ones would look even better . . . . I wonder what the widest tire is that would fit a 126?

Mine are the five spoke AMG wheels. They're nore open than those. I'll be painting my brake calipers red as soon as I get a chance and it's warm enough.

The problem w/rubbing alcohol is that it contains an oil in its mixture...that's so you can RUB with it and not STICK...

ALWAYS use denatured alcohol...no oils and leaves very little behind....
