1984 Mercedes 280 SL
**These are pictures taken prior to my taking possesion of the car - I will post some current pictures post-cleanup as soon as I can find my digital camera - I'm sure you care**

Although I am in serious doubt as to whether or not anyone but my personal friends and family who live far enough away as to be able to avoid seeing my car directly will every use this site, what the heck - I hope everyone and their dog likes what they see. If not, well, I still think my car is so darned nifty (immature phrasing, I know) I can hardly stand it. And I am also pretty sure that there are not but a handful of stickshift Mercedes in this whole city (none as cool as mine... in my mind).

Well, whatever - friends, family, strangers, dogs of strangers...

This car is a 1984 280 SL, a model exclusive to Europe. I am the thrid owner, the second in the U.S. It has the inline six cylinder engine, wonderfully maintained, rebuilt about forty grand ago by the close family friend that I bought the car from. The odometer says 127,5XX - I have put 200 miles on this car in the four days I have had it so far.

I am sure I will add more later, but hey, its late. If you really care, check back later. If not, it hurts, but I will move on with my life.

Later All,
Garion.
