Oldbeaver	Yes, it is a Nissan RD28 6 cilinders in line, aspirated diesel. It has three valves per cilinder, about 100 HP. Reliable, durable, soft and quite. Good for a Mercedes. I am looking for a original Mercedes now, and gave this car to my son. It is running well for 6 years since.	07-10-2012

Oldbeaver	I would have bought a W124 300D if available at a reasonable price. I would have instaled a MB diesel engine also, if not so expensive. I looked for it for a long time. Besides, people who has those items do not sell them. I wouldn't also. Only a few diesel Mercedes W 124 entered in my country. That´s why.	05-26-2008
