I Love the 5 speed standard transmission . It has a long throw. You really feel the smooothness of the shifter . She can sure boogy along as you continue to accelerate through all 5 gears. Would never own an automatic again.
Hope to get the hard top off this week or next. Brand new black convertible top underneath.
Took the hardtop off and put it on my home made stand and covered it with two bed sheets. It may not look pretty but it saved me several hundred dollars. It works just fine. The stand is on casters so I can move it around the garage as I please.
Took a ride with the convertible top down by the ocean side with all windows down . Did speeds up to 55 mph and not at all breezy in the front seat.
I had a 1965 Pontiac Parisienne Custom Sport Convertible and it was very windy up front.
I was pleasently surprised at how comfortable it was. More important my wife (with hair issues) will really be impressed.
