1990 Mercedes 300ce

Mods:

-TYC Euro Headlights ("chromed")

-Plastic Grille insert painted flat black

-1994-1995 W124 Taillights (color-matched the black trim around it)

-Color-matched trim strip on trunk

-Deleted the rubber trim piece on trunk, moved license plate lights to the inside of the trunk, and sealed the holes with color-matched screws

-Lowered on H&R Springs, with Bilstein Sport shocks

-Rolled Fenders for wider wheels/tires

-18x8 ET35 AMG Monoblock replicas with 225/40/R18 tires

-Nakamichi CD-400 CD Player

-Infinity Kappa Perfect 10vq Subwoofer installed via infinite baffle (i.e. free air). Trunk sealed from cabin with woofer mounted to rear deck under 1st aid kit.

-Focal Polyglass V3E slim 3-way component speakers in front, with custom fiberglass door enclosures for 6" midrange woofer

-Focal Polyglass 100 v-slim 4" speakers for rear fill, in custom fiberglass enclosures (since deck was sealed for IB sub)

-JL Audio 500/5 amplifier with subwoofer control knob

-JL Audio e2150 amplifier

-Audiocontrol EQS 6-channel trunk-mounting equalizer

-Omnfi music harddrive (harddrive in trunk, control unit in glove box)

-Interior stripped and sound-deadened using 2-3 layers of Second Skin Damplifier Pro and 1 layer of Second Skin Overkill.

As of 7/19/06, my stereo installation is in progress. All components purchased, sub installed, amp rack built, sound deadening 95% complete. Began fiberglass work for rear speaker enclosures.
