Gack

ALL jobs and production where moved to CHINA.

Obama and GM screwed everyone, and nobody cares.

FYI: UAW members plan to express their extreme anger in the Presidential election.

Where did you get this info? OR is this sarcasm and I am out of touch?

I finally saw one the other day and was quite impressed. I have been reading up on them every chance I get. I know production was stopped around Christmas to update tooling and just resumed recently.

Engineers at the GM tech center.

Several of the Detroit news stations had the story.

Article last September where GM plans on moving the production to China.

Obamasan must have liked it.

GM deal moves electric car development to China -- a 'shakedown'?

Nothing there definitively points to Volt production in China. The article (from last September) states that FUTURE EV development MAY take place in China. The article also states that future Volt production COULD be moved to China.

A large part of me doesn't want to believe this. I really like the Volt and I'm not buying into it....yet.

I'm a bit confused, how much of the Obama stimulus and GM bailout money was spent here?

Ultracaps or better batteries and I think it would have a small market. Force feeding it into the market the way the government has done is ruining the appeal. Seems rushed and unfinished.

Explain why you think it is being force-fed. Also explain why you think it seems rushed and unfinished.

Have you seen or driven one?

YES, test drove several.

IMO it is overpriced.

IMO the ride quality is poor.

IMO it is not durable.

IMO it breaks to easily.

IMO it is expensive to repair.

It will make a nice addition to Jay Leno's garage.

Overpriced I can KIND OF agree with. However, you have to realize the technology that went into that car.

As far as being durable, breaking too easily and expensive to repair how can you back that up?

Oh, and I didn't realize you changed your name from Bubyagee.

Disagree, there is nothing new on the volt as all of the technology is at least fifteen years old, this vehicle could have been built with off the shelf components but they demanded patent/copyright units developed in house.

My opinion is free, I charge a consulting fee for that type of documentation.

I have connections inside all of the automobile manufacturers after fifteen+ years working R&D.

Sorry, I did not note who you where asking.
