My 2012 ML 350 4 Matic, 7500 miles, was working perfect, up to the second maintence service and ECU RECALL UPDATE. After that it did not start for 6 separated occasions, the first one 48 h. after update was done, transmission stuck in P position, imposible to move, after wheel free adaptor is installed the car is towed to the dealers. Multifunction screen displayed DO NOT SHIFT GEARS. Intelligent Shift Module and its Harness has been replaced and many scan verifications of codes, performed at the dealer, they have not solved the fault. The car was delivered to me last Friday (spent 28 days in the dealer) after its 5th event. Today by 6th time the multifunction screen displayed same message, DO NOT SHIFT GEARS, same fault. The car has spent in total 75 days in the dealer.
I would like to know if any body has similar experience, is this problem reversible.
