Diesel drag race

Car54 was talking smack about the Vanagon... so I had to put the smack down on his wimpy little scooter.

Unfortunately the scooter turned out to be faster.

I wonder if a 220D Automatic is faster?

It would have been a real blow out if the Vanagon didn't have the tight ratio shifter.

Ya, the Vanagon's final drive is 5.56:1 IIRC.

I never thought I'd see a drag race that my 300SD could win.

Love it thanks for posting.

We've been musing about racing the Automatic 240D against my 49cc Baccio scooter when the 240D is running again. Now I think its a must.
