What model does this fit

I am trying to get information on the reservoir in the picture below. Is this part still available thru MB or any aftermarket shops?

I am sorry to say that I don't own an MB. However, this reservoir looks like it will fit my vintage Alfa. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

That looks like late 1950s Ponton (Bathtub Benz) hydraulic reservoir to me. If you have the part number, then the first 3 digits will be series designation of the model.

It looks like the clutch fluid reservoir. What's the part number?

Hi guys,

Thanks so much for the responses. As far as a part number, all I have is 000 431 1202. It doesn't look like an Ate number. I'm not familiar with MB part numbers so don't know if this is one or not.

I figured it was a cluch fluid reservoir. These were also used in the Alfas for a short period of time.

Any idea if these are still available?

That looks like a MB part number, call a dealer and see if it is a good number.

I found the MB has a classic car parts section that you can talk to. I called and talked with a guy named Paul. He was extremely helpful. The part number has been superceeded. The reservoir is still currently available for $37. I'm extatic. Thanks to all for your help.
