The wooden wishbones remove easily after you have grabbed and pulled off the spring-loaded rearview mirror by it's neck and found the screws to the mounting bracket underneath.

Regarding the windshield hockey-stick sills, you've got several blue plastic thumb nuts (finger tight) on metal dowels fixed to the wood strips from underneath. You can barely reach these blue plastic nuts (sometimes) if you remove the inside of the glove box, the cardboard kick panels and pull the dashboard radio speaker plus whatever else gets in the way or opens avenues too.

Think about squirming around underneath with a flashlight and you might be able to remove (with your fingers) the blue plastic nuts that hold hockey-stick wood trim in place.

How often do you drive all of those cars you have? Just curious.

how often drive my cars....

My main driver is my A8L. LR is for the wife and weekends. The Excursion is for long trips, camping and towing. My jeep is for Rockcrawling (I belong to a club). The AMG sits around and I only drive it to MBZ events or tracks. The other 560SEC is for sale. I am building a j-10 truck for house projects and such but using the drivetrain from the 84 Wagoneer. When I am done with the project, the Wagoneer will be parted out. The 280SE Coupe is being painted as we speak. It will be restored to a driver/show, #2 condition. The vehicle will be down to metal and will be painted to the original color. The interior will be done as well. This will be my weekend driver. The trailer is to move my cars. The 32' toy hauler is for camping and to haul my jeep to desert.

I think that covers it.
