Will seats from 280 SE fit into 300 SEL?

Hi there:

would seats from a 1971 280 SE fit into a 1972 300 SEL?

what about the door panels? I guess the back door panels are different because of the extended wheelbase of the SEL !?

Appreciate any insights...

Thanks & cheerio, Harry.

Sedan seats?, then yes. The SEL was steched 4" and SEL rear doors are longer thus different panels.
The 280 SE is a w108 : seats and panels are usually vinyl, MB Tex
the 300 SEL is a w109, basically the same body but the w109 seats and panels are usually leather and there is wood trim ( specific to the 300's) on the door panels
