US headlamps

Dos same one knows were in Europe I get US headlamps for a 1973 w115. My car comes is originally from Canada and the plastic cover of the lamps are all cracked. Being in Europe I can easily get the H4 or the Euro headlamps but this plastic’s I don’t know where to get then.

If you're referring to the plastic that surrounds the headlamp and contains the turn signal and parking light, it's probably still availible from Mercedes ($$$$), and there are some aftermarket suppliers selling replacement parts for older Mercedes. Otherwise, check Ebay or try this Forum for anyone that may have spares or links to North American salvage yards. (But if they're easy to find over there, I'd probably install the Euro lights)

Yes I am referring to the plastic that surrounds the headlamp and contains the turn signal and parking light. I can get easily euro ones, I even Believe Bosch still sells then and since I am in Europe and this was a popular car over where (specially for taxis) they are not difficult to find.

But the car had originally US specs so I would like to keep it that way.

The part n. º of this plastic thing could be useful also, so if same one knows it I would appreciate it.

The headlight surround is availible from my local Mercedes dealer for $383, but they refused to give me a part number over the phone.

Adsit sends me their Mercedes parts catalog. They list it for $298 + shipping. I've never ordered from them but their number is 1-800-521-7656.

Thanks for the help. I found out that Bosch still as this parts in the online catalogue. Ill contact then for confirmation and check if they are available and the prices. Bosch part n.º is 1 305 542 901
