That's actually a tough question.
But since there is no unique bubble/bulge (like the 300SL hood, that distinguished it from the 190SL) on your currently crumbled 107 to accomodate the larger 4.5 engine instead of the 350, I'd say go for it as both the SL and SLC are 107 body styles, correct? Otherwise, pay a visit to ebay motors and get out the magnifying glass to draw your own conclusions. It would kinda surprise me if y'all 107 fans got screwed by weird MB discrepancies between coupes and convertibles. But I've never owned an SL or SLC in my life and have been driving the same $500 Benz for the past 2 yrs - expecting to pull another couple hundred thousand miles out of it, at least. Yes, the 350SLC hood will fit..........
Hello,
All 107 series hoods are the same, there was a slight change in the shape around 1974 to accomodate the M110 straight six engine, but that was it. Hope that helps.
