w123 seats fit w116?
Hello everyone,
I am about to purchase a set of w123 seats and was wondering if they really will fit my w116. I dont want to make the mistake of not being able to fit them in. I have heard from many sources that they are compatible but they still look slightly different, mostly the headrests. Please help me out and tell me im not wrong again. Thanks. Peter

Anything COULD fit, but I don't think they are just a drop in. However, I don't have a 123 to compare.

|
Make sure you do not forget the safety bars that go thru the seatbelt mechanism and which bolt to the tunnel. This is what keeps you from heading thru the windshield in a crash. These bars are meant to be straight, and if there was an incompatibility, I think it might be on this part.
