Question How do I remove the door sill in a w115 to change carpet?

I am trying to switch interior from one car to another but the only manual I have is on CDisc and I can't find anything useful on it about half the times I look (you would think I would learn but "hope springs eternal").
Anybody know how to get the part that holds the carpet down that sits under the door and over the rocker panel (door sill made sense to me) up so I can change carpet?
One car is a w115 240d and the other is a 1972 (w115?) 220d.
Thanks for the help,
Brian

Hello,
It is pried up, it will be very difficult to remove as the flat clips that hold it on are rusty from years of exposure to moisture.
Good luck.

insert a thin flat blade screwdriver at the point where it bends over and under the sill to the outside (if that makes sense) and pry it up. Use fingers for the rest.
Its putting it back that is tough (you need to bang it into place) without cracking the plastic
