Distributor: Grey cast iron or Light metal housing
I see that both are are sold for the M130 engine. How does a person know if the distributor is Grey cast iron or Light metal housing on their car? Thanks.

By "light metal", I presume they mean an aluminum alloy. The lack of rust and corrosion would be one give-away. It would also be the same color inside and out.
-CTH PS. About your sig, "D-jetronic" is a fuel injection system. The ignition module is something else entirely. |

Hey MunichTaxi...
So you have '71 280SE that you are parting out? What color and what condition is the interior? I'm in the market for some leather Cognac front seats if they are in good condition. I live in Bremerton, WA and can pick them up. ps I am also having trouble identifying the distributor part number on my 280. Any clues? Robert |
