mercedes rebuilt engine question

Approx. how many miles should you get on a rebuilt engine.

There are a lot of variables that can come into play.

Assuming the engine was fully rebuilt, and properly maintained, it should last at least 200k miles IMHO.

If just the head was rebuilt, and the engine was properly maintained, I'd venture a minimum of 100k miles, assuming the head was rebuilt at after 110k miles and the block was in good shape.
