oil filter location?

Hello again, I've been wanting to change the oil again because last time i did was last year, with cheap stuff because the car was still dormant (and has been for 7 years)... I do remember it was a hard time trying to find the oil filter, and i had help... I have the oil filter kit, and I know its a filter in the can style... i just cant find it...

The car is a 76 300D, and I feel really stupid asking this... I'm sorry if its blaitny obvious, but I cant find it...
If anybody can help, I'd really apprecaite it
~Nate

It's underneath on driver's side behind the injector pump.... cut the wheel to the right and crawl under the left wheel well. Best bet is loosen the housing then let it empty while hangin there - to avoid gettin splashed with hot oil.

On my 280/8 w114 can remember being able to reach down into engine compartment leaning over the fender to access the oil filter housing as an option to crawling under the car.

Bit of trick lining it up for reattachment too.
