Does anyone have a German non grey sales - Euro 78 250???
I have a 1978 250 brought to the U.S. in 1984.
I would Love to know what Fuel, Air and Oil filters and tune-up parts I can get and if they are the same as some 'North American' sold models? So....Is there a U.S. sold model that I can tell the parts supplier that I have to save on the confushion?....or am I in BIG TROUBLE? Not too many 78 mercedes running around with a Straight six and a 4 Blr carb in it. All the books at the stores ansd on line say NO 250 in 1978 ....well I know that part HELP!!!!!! Thanks! The W123 chassis 250 was never delivered to the US. It should be the same gas, air & fuel filters as the M110 motor in a W123 chassis. Also fastlane should be able to either confirm that or sell you the correct parts. -CTH

Hello Euro Mercedes
I have a 1984 200 gas Euro from Saudi Arabia. I live in the same state you do and there is only one resource that I can find that will help you. I have owned over 150 Mercedes of all makes and models. Please send me a private message and I will hook you up.

Thanks!
Well today was the first day ( with new tabs and registration ) and I drove her to work and I loved it! very quiet and comortable ride. I took the freeway home with the sun roof and my drivers window down and man! I did not get all beat to hell by the wind and noise! Funny the steering seemed to have a tiny bit of play on the back streets but was much tighter on the highway...COOL! I think I like Mercedes! well built and EASY to work on! |
