Yeah I saw that too, was perfect condition 1966 230 wagon that traded above $12,000. It's Belgian built coachwork and only a couple thousand were made http://www.heckflosse.nl/uni.htm .

Twenty years ago, I could have bought a nice 230S Universal for $1500. Three years ago, there was a very rusty and poor running one, for sale at the local German Marque show. I think the guy was asking $2800!
Over $12000 for a supposedly mint condition one? Oh well, if you went to restore one today, you could spend two or three times that much.

Happy Motoring, Mark.

Correction: bidding stopped at $13,350 w/out reserve being met. Maybe contact the seller to ask him to relist or haggle over whatever he *thinks* the car is worth if you gotta have an old 110 MB wagon.... $15,000? seems alot, even for original unmolested condition at 132k miles.

Here's the ebay listing from my history folder:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/MERCEDES-1966-230-UNIVERSAL-WAGON-EXCELLENT-UNRESTORED_W0QQitemZ4573674546QQcategoryZ6329QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

Dang it, we had a cracked block 200D version of the Belgian wagon kickin around here last year for about $900 + shipping. And the 200 looked like a better car with bucket seats, roof rack and the forever popular KuhlMeister A/C, same color scheme: dark blue over red.
