w108 window fuse location
Can anyone tell me where the window fuses are located on my 73 280SEL 4.5. I know there are some under the dash but they are not marked (but numbered) so which numbers are for the windows?

The window fuses are conveniently located under the hood. A couple three small black boxes which house a two fuse fuseblock. One set is for the A/C and Radio, one for the windows and the third for the rear window defroster IIRC. You'll find these boxes mounted just right of center on the firewall.

mike's got you in the right place. astoundingly, sometimes just spinning the fuses around to break the corrosion will bring windows back to life.

Stopped by Autozone and replaced the fuse.. everything is back to normal... many thanks.
