any 319ers around here

Hey guys,
I'm looking at picking up a 319 panorama van here locally...total rust bucket but solid enough to be on the road. It seems like it should be easy enough to get looking ok and getting it running shouldn't be that hard. However, what happens when I need basic stuff? Any info is appreciated.
thanks guys,
opossum

Possum, here's a thread from just a few days ago about Hanamog vans... MB Camper Van with a good dose of 'waycool'. ....reopen it with your question and you will probably find out what you want to know.

service literature is hard to find. I think I have the parts books here at least.

Parts are very, very difficult to find in the US. Defintely don't let that thing wind up at a crusher.

Hi guys,
In my researching, it seems there are maybe a dozen or so of these 0319s that ever made it here. This makes hands on experience sharing pretty hard to come by, eh? It would be nice to a parts cross reference book for this thing. I just don't want to get stuck with something where obtaining parts is not possible. Right off the bat I will need new brake parts from the mastercylinder down to the drums...Surely these parts must be used on other vehicles also wouldn't you think? If you could help me out with some part numbers, CTH, I would really appreciate it. If I knew I could get my hands on some of this stuff I will go for it and buy this thing...If not, I would still like to have it but my wife will throw a fit!!! And I'd have a permanent yard ornament!!

Thanks alot for your input,
opossum
