Euro 66' 250SE " needs new home ''

Hello every one ,

I have a mercedes 250SE 1966 it has a Red interior and middle metallic gray paint . I believe it is an Italian one ( little round Fiat*
turn signals ) . I have had it for 3 years . It is now running very well after much
work . timing chain , valves , power brake booster, engine and suspension
mounts, new exhaust and much more . The SL pagoda club has been helping me with
questions. The thing is ,I am now going to
SELL her and MISS her, I WILL ! This car has been so much fun to drive, w/4-speed, on
the floor . My question is where are some of the best places to advertise?
Hemmings, is a dud, Craigs list no luck .
*and If any one is interested in the car please call me I would be happy to email pictures ( Alex ) 1-718-458-
5782 I am in the the New york city area . or post some advices please

** Alex* Beldock .***** P.S.* The paint is fair but the car is in very nice shape ,[ no rust ].*I am interested in getting mid- high 6's *

is this a 2door for 4 door? Getting that number for a 2door is a lot simpler than for a sedan. But for a truely rust free sedan that is close to spectacular, it's possible. -CTH

Yes a 4/door . I guess things in new york are different , perhaps , but I was told by a collector and mechanic out in longisland $7000 was ball park. I have more than $5000 invested in improvements I have a buyer in the mid 6 rang $6500 witch I'll sell it for , but he is waiting for a garage space to open up in his building . I sold a Chrysler Windsor 52' $6,300 ( original ) faded paint .

Alex, Thanks for your reply .

I bet you can get it, given time. If the car is in great shape... Good luck!

I didn't say it was impossible, just more difficult. Putting a coupe and sedan side by side and they're both pretty and the same price will get the coupe sold first.

There's an interesting article about 108 cars and condition in the latest Mercedes classic magazine. It's 7$ at the news stand, but a great read.
