Best way to cut out a floor pan

The local U pull it has a few W116's. I need to cut the floor pan of one of them for the 6.9 restoration. WHat is the best way of cutting the floor pan with only battery operated cutting tools. They do not allow plasma cutting and I can't run a cable to operate an angle grinder.

I'd try to negotiate use of junkyard's torching equipment as part of the deal.

Half-assed boneyard should have its own Oxygen Acetylene torch often mounted on the junkyard pickup truck. With that you can cut the floorboards as high as you like, even include a chunk of the transmission trunk and cross supports. Or bone the entire floor from the car after pulling the seats. Then trim it to fit when you get it home.

Just be careful about creating an explosion with hydraulic lines and fuel lines underneath.

cutting in junkyard

i would recommend a sawzall with metal cutting blades and a portable generator. if you don't have these things borrow or rent them.
