Sure, have some fun Canolli, everyone's allowed to do that, but I still maintain my position. Can't say I agree that it's the same as putting a steroidal mouse in a '32 Coupe though. I still agree with the original post (that being the ugliest Mercedes).

I'm not going round in circles about it, no use in that since there's little likelihood of changing anyone's mind.

Al, the AMG's sound fascinating though. I'd have to think about that. Are you talking about mounting them in the boat?? (or have you already done it?). If so, what specific boat?

Maybe soon 88'190E 2.6, which will inherit an extra Garret T4 and Volvo Intercooler (cause I've got them already) and hope to heck I can learn MB systems since I'm used to BMW (and yes, sorry guys, I still want another one)

Steve, the V12 boat idea is the only thing that would get me interested in something performance that's Mercedes flavored. I would never be interested in their high end cars, as nice as they are. I could see a 5cylinder diesel, making some decent power, in a light car, sometime in the near future. I spend a lot of time around performance boating, as this is really the only theater where you can legally go fast. If I were to choose a body to put the V12's in, it would probably be a 10 meter Fountain, or something similar.
