Thanks,

450 SEL fuse diagram

250 Coupe,
As a fellow Michael (not to mention 450 SEL owner), I'm willing to do you a solid. This is from a 77 450 SEL.

Michael,
Thank you.
I've already printed it out but it's dark and cold so it's gonna wait till tomorrow to go out to the car.

Michael

Michael,
You're welcome. I appreciated your post listing your Mercedes bibliography. Good idea, that post. I will link it to another form I belong to, w116.org, so they can access it (and hopefully add to it as well).

P.S. Cold and dark are not conducive to automotive maintenance, are they?

How to tell if your fuse arrangement is the same

JBR,
You've probabely got a 4.5L engine in your SL, but it is a different chassis (yours is a 107, I think). Someone else might know if the 450SEL and SL have the same arrangement for fuses, but you can probably tell yourself by comparing your fuses with the diagram. If the same amperages (easily ID'd by color) are in the exact same locations in your box as they are in my diagram, there's a pretty decent chance you have the same layout arrangement.
