Any security Gurus in here?

I need to come up with a controlled access and security solution for a small business.

I’ll need four to six cameras, a hard disk based recorder with motion triggered event recording and keypad or prox access to a front door mag strike with data logging. The owner isn’t interested in a monitored system at this time, however, an autodialer would probably be a good idea.

We are looking mostly to make noise to scare off the timid and take clear pictures of vehicles and people for evidence rather than getting the cops out right away as it is a bit rural and the bad guys would be long gone before the cops could get there.

Michael

Yea, I know but I don't read any of the other forums as I only have vintage cars and don't care for the musings of open discussion.

As a token to vintage, it's for Dauntless Motors, the largest manufacturer and seller of sidecars in North America and they have some nice old bikes to protect.

Plus all/any of the post here go into the Archieves for the Search data base , which needs all the space than can get....

Even though you care not to venture into the hairy scary world of Open Discussion, that may be your best bet. There really is a broad knowledge base on these boards, and more folks cruise the OD than cruise the Vintage pages.

It only hurts the first time
