My 70 220d crabs down the road

Hey guys, my 70 220d crabs down the road and the alignment shop said there is nothing I can do about it. I don't believe that. It is eating thru rear tires. Is it true, am I screwed or are there any tricks I can try? Thanks

i would suspect the large a frame under the back of the car. they can be bent and they can rust out.

there is no suspension adjustments without shims on the back i dont think so perhaps that is why they said what they said.

the a frames can be replaced without too much difficulty.

Do these ones have the swing axle setup?

Is there a good frame shop or a good independent MB shop near you that could take a look and give you an honest opinion?

This could be set right, I'd think without a huge cost to you. No sense in getting the rear tires chewed up.

i would check the rear a frame for sure. any other problem that would produce such a large affect is unlikely.
