75 300D IP leaking

It seems I have a fuel leak from the top of the IP. I have been told by mechanic the 10 O-rings likely need replacement. He quoted me $500 for the job. I live near DC

I don't feel competent enough to do this job but would like to have opinions on the diagnosis and price for the fix

any help would be appreciated

The parts are peanuts so he is charging almost $500 for labor...I would shop it around as it is only 1-2 hour job to do this. Post this to the diesel board and you can probably find a tech through there to do it for less, much less I would suspect.
