Too bad the admitted rust problem keeps it from being restored. Kind of an awful color too.

That will be a tough sell, unless someone wants the whole thing to part out.

That's in a real rough San Francisco neighborhood, I wonder how that car wound up down there...

I may take a look

I emailed him some questions depending on his answers I may take a look this afternoon. It could be just the fenders are rusted I know I can hope.
If it is a parts car I might give him $800 for it I already have a buyer for the front clip hood and trunk lid front and rear bumpers plus the rockers should they be good that will more than cover the cost of the car.
So there may be a fun drive to be had and a few bucks made you never know it could be a 3.5 with AC now that would be cool, rusty fenders would not bother me a bit. I feel lucky today maybe
LOL

Dave,
Let me know if it is a 3.5 A/C car-I would be interested in the Behr A/C unit.

I know you understand these cars well, so it might work out well for you to buy the whole thing to part it out, certainly for $800 it would be worth it

Especially if you only have to go up 101/280 from San Jose.

The Bayview/Hunter's Point neighborhood is bad, really bad (behind Candlestick Park) especially around 3rd Street. Be careful and alert, I'm not kidding. I lived in SF 1979-2004 so I know that

While you're there check out the junkyards around 3rd and Quint, you never know, you might find something there. It could be a fun day if it works out
