hub caps and emblem wanted

Thanks for the assistance with the oil cooler. In the end I have decided that if I cannot get the right oil cooler (which they want $890.00 for) then I will make the incorrect one they sent fit.

Next project is to buy an additional set of hubcaps for my 71 220D (115). Original ones are blue but the color should not matter because I am having them stripped and painted this winter. So condition is much more important than color. If anyone has a set to sell let me know. I would also like to replace the entire hood ornament assembly. Everything down to the metal piece that secures it in place from under the grill. I've seen a number of places that you can order the star but have not seen anywhere to buy the base. Same year and model (115).

I have a set from my 240D. I've moved over to the Bundts.

I haven't looked at them in a while so I'm not sure what condition they're in. Anyway, you can have them for the cost of shipping if you'd like.

I've been reading through the progress on your 71 220. When are you going to start the paint job? I have mine going in on 1 December but the condition I found it in (after 25 years of storage) was much better than what you pulled out of the barn. At the same price though (free) it's hard to complain.

I'm still interested in a good set of hubcaps...looks like you lucked into a good set on your 71. I have the originals in light blue but want a second set in time to get them painted with the car in December/January.

Also looking for an entire hood ornament assembly.

Do not have the hood ornamet, but have a set of Brown hubs, not sure of the shape but will look,
Mine is goign for paint nex week or so... wish me luck as I am doing it myself!
