How do I remove the fan?

The fan in my 1979 280ce isn't working. Where is it located and how tough is it to get out? It's a eurospec model without ACC.

Its located above the passenger side kick panel easily accessible. And new fan contact brushes can be found at the hardware store. Or take it to an electrical appliance repairman. Amazingly easy to fix.
