Gotta stop beating up your mechanics. You need to cultivate good car service. I always bring 6-pack of beer with me when picking up my car. Doing this has earned me 'favored customer' status everywhere.

240Dog,
I'm not beating anyone up here. I do show that i appreciate my mechanic. But it should work both ways. There is obviously no indication that he appreciates the business i give him. When something goes wrong with my car, he makes me feel like i am inconveniencing him by wanting to have it looked at? This is a classic, said "i don't want to stress my mechanics out, my garage is full right now." And that the response i got after telling him what was wrong with it. I never demanded that he take a look at it right away. Seems like he does not want to service my car. Not sure where his attitude is coming from. And that's when he actually calls me back. I've given him plenty of money over the past year to him. On another occasion, when my car was finished, he called me and demanded that i pick it up right away. I had to drop my work and leave my office to pick it up. Poor attitude always. On top of that, repair totals always turn out to be at least a few hundred above the estimate. I think i need to find a new shop. It's not a bad thing. This guy is an ass.
