Quick question, hoses on carbed M110
Hello,
Quick question: What are the hoses that run along the right side of the engine bay (RIGHT next to fender) (on the carb side) They seem to be made of a woven cloth, all three are torn wide open, I am wondering what they are for.... Thanks! 1974 280C M110 W114

Yes. If the vehicle is "Show quality" and you want to keep it original in appearance, Phil can get you braided line. I believe you can order it from the "Buy Parts" link, but I'm not sure which is which and dont feel like checking .

Sure, rubber or viton will work just fine and not cost a lot of money! If you are concerned with the appearance in your motor bay, then you can use the original braided cloth. Making this repair will IMPROVE your fuel economy and will be well worth the effort.

Thank you all!
I have decided to use rubber hoses as I have them available. (Christmas presents beat the snot out of my account!)
