I think TVR took the Rover V8 to 4.5 litres (Range rover took the same engine to 4.6) before TVR began manufacturing their own engines in the mid 90's.
I think a US V8 would be ideal for any V8 conversion. Bolt on performance is cheap and parts can be had at any high street parts store.

The Jensen is another car that's on my top 10. Ive look around a lot for them but they are hard to find.
To me, those cars are as cool as the Aston's of the Era.

Hello,
Just get a Jensen Interceptor Mk3 convertible. Stag is not worth the headaches you'll have. My brother's friend bought one in 1980, same time that my brother bought one of the last BMW 3.0Si made in RHD. We still have the BMW, the Stag is long gone, 3litreSi can still outrun most modern 3 series and some 5ers around here up to 100mph Jensen is the ideal "specialist" car for USA with the Chrysler drivetrain. I'd buy one in a heartbeat but in Malaysia, taxation is on cubic inches, so the 7.2litre would cost me something like US$7000/year. Same reason I sold the R107 500SL after just a year Have a good week.

If I can find a Jensen Interceptor for a good price, owning a stag wont stop me from buying one :-)
Thanks for your advise
