Solex 1A carby float chamber vent valve adjustment?

Hi all, further to my previous post (hard hot starts) and from several over the phone conversations I have been told to adjust ...the float chamber vent valve on the Solex 1A carby in my w123, 1978 250. However the manual I have does not have much info in this area for the Solex carby only the Zenith dual carby's so kinda confused?

Does anyone out there have any info on the Solex carby or can direct me to an online source or can scan me those couple of pages dealing with the adjustment this would be great?
