Dammit!!! Need a differential ASAP!
Hey, folks:
You might have read my earlier posts about the weird friction noise coming from the rear of my '68 220 gasser. Well, I finally got a shop to take a look at it and guess what? It's not the driveshaft, bearings, brakes, u-joints, etc. It's coming from the differential. And it's getting worse. So...anybody got a line on where I can get a decent used diff for my car? Quickly? Also: How big a PITA is it to swap out the differential on these beasts? Feel free to private message me if you've got a lead. I may post a wanted ad in the parts section here, too. Thanks in advance.
