Out of curiosity did you ever "finish" the Rover ?

The Rover is still in Atlanta, 90 percent of the welding is done, it now starts and stops and moves in all three gears. I still needs to be put back together and also requires chrome, rubber bits, carpet and all the other things that are very hard to find.

It does have new paint though.

This is what it looks like now:



Which is not bad considering what it looked like when I got it:



There's no such thing as an unfinished project, just projects that take a long time to finish

The paperwork arrived yesterday. It looks like the car was purchased new in Atlanta and then sold onto it's second owner on 1974. She donated the car to charity where it was purchased by seller.

There isn't much service history after that.

Nice group of projects. I always say: If you're going to spend too much it should be worth it.
